Life in Ling Galaxy has always hung by a precious thread. Essence, the life-giving substance, has for centuries been administered to all systems in Ling Galaxy by the Nara race. However, the demand for Essence by multiple beings in Ling Galaxy has outpaced the supply from the Nara. Famines, disease, and discontent have poisoned Ling Galaxy and left her citizens craving.

The balance of control over Ling Galaxy has tipped away from law and order. Races like the Omegans and the Railen, each with their own cause against the Nara, have lay claim to their stake over controlling Ling Galaxy. Malone Stanton, a cast out Nara, has declared himself the heir apparent to all of Ling Galaxy. The Universal Alliance, which has for centuries maintained control in Ling Galaxy, finds itself ever stretched thinner in their waning success at maintaining order.

Now humans, known as Xeno, have made their entrance into Ling Galaxy. Some consider them harmless, while to others humans could hold the key at restoring balance and control to a Galaxy on the brink of all-out war.

Apostate Progeny is the story of Pierce Sava, son of the president of the Universal Alliance, Nic Sava. Pierce never wanted the life of his father, mired in diplomacy and working against impossible odds to unite Ling Galaxy. Pierce’s plans for a life on his own terms are cut short when the one he loves is kidnapped along with Nic Sava and others at the head of the UA. Pierce must dive back into a world he fled from to rescue those he cares about. Will he succeed in time, or will the Essence Wars reach a breaking point?
